• I have vague foggy memories of one of the Superstars of L. organizers looking frighteningly like Jeremy Pivens... I seem to recall that half the ravers were pharmacy majors... heh...

• Kim Tucci was a pimp. Any coinquidink that this piece focused on his daughter? and that every rave Alexis didn't throw got busted (& That Girl's didn't)? Good times at Fallout, though. Sigh. Now it's a f*cking frat bar & the 3rd floor where I met my friend Scott is someone's loft. Oh, and I was there at Fallout the night Jamie A was there. Did he and Kim T go to Catholic high school together?

• the Rave scene of the early 90's was such a bizarre mix of kids, all sharing back rubs, pacifiers and drugs in the strangest of locales...I recall one in the forest, one at a roller rink...I think there was even a weekly pseudo rave called the starlight or something to that effect...somewhere in the city... lots of baggy trousers and tight t-shirts... Do the superstars of love exist anymore outside of fuzzy, faded memory? it seemed like half the crowd was there to dance, the other half to score top-notch hallucinogens... good times...
