MP3 + RFT Cover: The Blind Eyes

In this week's paper, I chatted with the Blind Eyes, which is toasting the release of its debut CD, Modernity, with a release show this Friday night at the Firebird. I'll have some interview outtakes up here tomorrow, but until then, please enjoy the amazing cover photoillustration by Jennifer Silverberg, and a new MP3. It's an appropriately bittersweet/breezy song called "January," best for blasting out the window on an early spring day like today. (Side note: Drummer Matt Picker notes that the following song appeared on Kirkwood High School's Spirit Week DVD first, so A to Z was scooped by those darn kids. Say that last bit in a Scooby-Doo voice.)
