MTV's The State Totally, Actually, Finally Coming to DVD on July 14 + Bonus Cake Like Videos

Some Twitter friends teased me a few weeks ago, but Facebook friend Ted found the video that made my day: MTV '90s sketch comedy show The State is REALLY finally coming to DVD on July 14. It's the entire run of the show on five discs, including commentary and never-before-seen sketches. Oh, man. If you're of a certain age, this show was the shizz; it's still one of the funniest things ever shown on MTV.
And just so this is music-related: Troupe member Kerri Kenney was in a band called Cake Like in the '90s. Here's a few videos to prove their awesomeness, if you liked folks such as that dog., the Spinanes, Scrawl and Jale.
