The Domani International Appears on Afghan Whigs Tribute CD, Opens for Dead Confederate

Categories: News
Recently resurrected local act the Domani International is appearing on a forthcoming tribute CD to the Afghan Whigs. It's in good company: Other artists appearing on Summer's Kiss: A Tribute to the Afghan Whigs include Mark Lanegan, Wussy (which just announced a show at Off Broadway on Friday, August 7!), Joseph Arthur and Matthew Ryan. The album is out next Tuesday, June 23, and can be previewed at Summer's Kiss Records. (TDI does "Debonair.")

Incidentally, Josh Brett of TDI says he's writing new tunes with Kevin Clay and is set to record this music in late August at the new Shock City Studios, which is holding its grand opening this Thursday night. TDI's next show is opening for Dead Confederate at the Firebird on July 15.

Oh, and Whigs video after the jump. Duh.
