Tortoise at the Firebird, Tuesday, September 29

• Well, you'd definitely still need the cots & pillows, cuz at a Bunnygrunt show, baby, EVERYBODY'S GONNA GET LAID!

• I like watching Tortoise because no member of the band seems to keep the same instrument for more than one piece at a time. All of a sudden this dude is playing vibraphone NOPE IT'S GUITAR now it's drums NOW IT'S SOME WEIRD FLUTE THING now it's bass AND BACK TO VIBRAPHONE; gonna have to say I think it's a pretty entertaining watch, myself.

• Yeah, just think, if we added Bunnygrunt to those bills people might go into a coma! HAYO

• Man oh man. Sunn o))) AND Tortoise? I sure hope the Bluebird is gonna invest in some cots or some comfy pillows or something. Don't get me wrong, I actually like both bands quite a bit in recorded form, but talk about some snooze-a-rama. Anyone going better power up on some Sparks before-hand...
