In terms of modern singer-songwriters, it doesn't get much better than this: Elvis Perkins in Dearland will be making its St. Louis debut on Friday, November 20, at the Gargoyle. A to Z fave AA Bondy is also on the bill. Tickets are $10 for the public. Both men have fantastic albums out (or coming out) in 2009: Perkins' self-titled album continues to improve on his rustic folk, while Bondy's When the Devil's Loose is out September 1.
