Photos: What Cheer? Brigade on the City Museum Roof, 8/7/09

Categories: Snapshots
The What Cheer? Brigade stopped in St. Louis Friday night and played at C.A.M.P. on Cherokee Street and then on the roof of the City Museum around 10 p.m. What Cheer? is a 19-piece  self-described "party band, and our sound incorporates elements of the following musical traditions: Bollywood, Balkan, New Orleans, Samba, and punk; that's the short list." The band is nearing the end of its 14-date tour through the South and Midwest.

About 100 people were there to see the band on the museum's roof, which opened about a month ago. The What Cheer? Brigade plays Sunday at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Photographer Steve Truesdell reported the show was excellent. See his full slideshow here.
