Noisemongers A Place to Bury Strangers are playing at the Firebird on Sunday night with All The Saints. If you like Jesus and Mary Chain, you'll dig the latter band; if you like nuclear-reactor noise, effects pedals and smoke machines, you'll dig APTBS. (Check our preview for proof.) Local shoegazers Stella Mora are also on the bill. And I have five tickets -- that's individual tickets, not pairs -- to give away, along with a T-shirt for each winner!

I'm dying to go to this show so I can get sonically assaulted while playing pinball at the Firebird.
I want to see APTBS because I haven't seen them since they came around with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in October 2007 and I miss the loudest band in New York :( Two years is way too long to go without seeing them live! It's hard to resist a band whos opened for such a diverse group of bands (MGMT, Nine Inch Nails, Jesus and Mary Chain? what?).

I'm dying to go to this show because I've seen APTBS the last two times they played at Firebird / Bluebird and they were awesome. Their new album is terrific, the last album was terrific... everything terrific. Stella Mora is one of my favorite local bands as well and I haven't seen them play for a while!
I'm dying to go this show because I was scrolling through my iPod at work the other day and stumbled upon a "shoegaze" playlist that I made awhile back (The Pale Saints, Galaxie 500, Swervedriver, Ride, Slowdive, MBV, etc.). I went into an absolute trance and was useless for a couple of hours. That being said, I would love the opportunity to see APTBS/All the Saints/Stella Mora because I'm not very familiar with any of their music (even though I have an affinity for extremely loud guitar effects/hazy melodies), and this show seems like a fantastic place to be introduced to it!
I want to see them because I didn't even have the chance to let Dinosaur Jr. blow my ears out! American Presidency midterm... Meh...
I want to see APTBS because i've never seen them live before but heard they are amazing and plus they have a FANTASTIC name
I want to see APTBS for the 3rd time because my ears were not properly blown out last week by J Mascis and Co as promised. I know from experience that this band is capable of even more volume. Exploding Head indeed..
