Now, a U2 blog originating in Mexico published a list of 2010 tour dates which includes St. Louis on July 10, and a commenter claimed the list originated from Interference, the U2 fan community. (Hey, those Spanish classes I took paid off.) A little Google-poking found the atU2blog posting about an alleged show in Michigan on July 8 of the same year -- and a two-day drive is completely doable to Missouri from there. (Their method of finding the date -- StubHub.com and Eventful.com -- yields no St. Louis evidence, however.) U2 has announced some 2010 tour dates, but not a new American leg -- and this year's shows have been in large outdoor stadiums, so it's anybody's guess what's going to happen.

I'm pretty sure that the July 10th date at Busch is going to happen. Remember the Post Dispatch saying that it takes 10 days for U2 to set up, play a concert, and then tear everything down? Check out the 2010 Cardinal schedule on the Cardinal's website. Busch is not being used by the Cardinals July 5th-July 14th. 10 days exactly.
A July show would rock, but keep in mind that most of the shows are being played in roofless stadiums. In addition, it might only only be a two-day drive from the alleged Michigan show to a St. Louis show, but the 360 tour is something that takes several days to set up and take down. That's why people have been saying it would be problematic at Busch in the height of baseball season.
