On Saturday, November 28, '90s rockers Bent will be playing their first club show in a decade as part of the "Cicero's Back to the Basement" show at (where else?) Cicero's. Also on the bill is the Adoring Heirs (which includes Bent's Rob Wagoner and Fragile Porcelain Mice's Tim O'Saben) and 33 on the Needle (featuring two members of Alton's Autumn Clock). Wagoner says that Bent's compilation CD, What's Now Is Nothing -- which contains its two unreleased albums -- is available at its shows and at Euclid Records. Album one was recorded with Jim Wirt (Incubus, Jack's Mannequin) at Santa Monica's amazing 4th Street Recording, while album two is a live disc of music recorded at Mississippi Nights and the Other World. (That LP was shelved by Grass Records in 1996; that label later evolved into Wind-Up Records.) Grab an MP3 below.
