• Wouldn't that really save your face, Matt Harnish, if BBQ had written that himself? Too bad for you, I am not BBQ. I dont know him. I am just a fan of indy music, including KK BBQ (certainly not there biggest fan, though). No, I'm just someone who appreciates the hard work indy musicians put into their careers, and grew tired of internet-addicted, fame-starved, small people who feel good about themselves by bad mouthing indy bands on message boards. In all honesty, I'm sorry I said you've never accomplished anything in your life, and for the comment about the gopher. Maybe one day, you'll stop trash talking people on the interweb, and just feel good about yourself on your own.

Being heckled by someone who has no musical talent, has never accomplished anything in their life, who's only claim to fame is eliciting a scowl from an artist after yelling something about Kim Mitchell (!)- why that is EVERY artist's nightmare. Your enormous jealousy of people who can actually write music and receive recognition for their talent is so obvious that only the gopher you lost your virginity to seems to have missed it.

• Canadian Club & KY. Just spotted this legit wire service story from Thursday. Could it be related to our no-show? * * * * Georgetown, KY Tanker truck overturns on Frankfort Rd. Published: Thursday, November 12, 2009 1:46 PM EST A semitrailer carrying 6,900 gallons of Canadian Club Whiskey and traveling west on Frankfort Road overturned near Craigs Lane. Scott County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Caudill said the semitrailer took out two or three trees as it overturned and the truck separated from the trailer in the process. The truck driver had minor injuries, said Scott County Fire Department Battalion Chief Jim Kanavy. ...liquid was still leaking from the tanker into the ditch and a cleanup crew was starting to contain the leaked liquid and clean up what had spilled. Kanavy said the leaking ethanol-based whiskey posed a high fire hazard. Traffic continues to be blocked in both directions on Frankfort Road. In addition to the county fire department and city-county emergency management agency, Kanavy said four other agencies responded to the accident: the Environmental Protection Agency, the Kentucky Fire Marshal's office, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement and the Georgetown-Scott County Emergency Medical Service.

• That makes perfect sense. Oak Grove has the cheapest gas on the trip and they must have taken a wrong turn (Easy to do). The exit is just off 24, which is the fastest (Correct) way to travel from nashville to STL. I have made the drive 6-8 times/year for the past decade...

• Hopkinsville I could understand. Oak Grove? It's at least worthy of a sign on the interstate (I24). My theory -- they realized they were headed up I-65 instead of I-24 and decided to cut across on one of the parkways that go near Oak Grove. Unfortunately they still had a ways to go (north on I65) to get to bourbon country. On the off chance they were John Prine fans they were still a ways off from Paradise Ky.
