David Geffen will be inducted as an executive, while songwriting teams of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil and Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry also made it in. The real questions now, though: Will Peter Gabriel (or Steve Hackett) and Genesis bury the hatchet and appear onstage/perform together at the ceremony? (Phil Collins can't play drums due to a back injury, so that's also a concern.) Will the members of ABBA -- who have long turned down reunion offers -- do some tunes? The Stooges are still active touring and recording, so it's ironic that the notorious wild-card act is probably the only solid given at the March induction ceremony.
