KDHX Shuffles Around Schedule, But Keeps Talk Shows On the Air

As of today, KDHX (88.1 FM) has shuffled around its programming schedule. Although the nighttime music shows now start at 7 p.m., and a few have changed slots (including, full disclosure, mine, which is now on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.), the biggest news is that the station's talk shows will remain on the air, in a four-hour block on Monday nights.

In June 2009, the RFT reported that KDHX was possibly going to eliminate talk shows from the terrestrial airwaves. Instead, shows would be podcast online, with shorter clips airing on the station throughout the week. With the new schedule, the talk shows will be broadcast on demand online; these versions "will occasionally include longer interviews, and offer additional and links to related content and comment forums for listeners."
