The 2010 RFT Music Showcase is Moving to Washington Avenue

• The naked painted ladies. Is that legal? Glad I didn't bring the kids.

• I'm sad to see the RFT Showcase to leave the Loop. The Loop is not what it used to be - certainly not in terms of culture or social progress. Things like the RFT Showcase are what keep the Loop alive as it should be. When monuments of culture (if you can call the RFT Showcase that, which you can't but whatever) leave the Loop, it gives way exclusively to growing commercialism and persistent crime that do not speak to the history and value of that area.

• So glad this was moved out of the U City Loop. I can't stand visiting that area anymore since Addis, Red Sea, and Saleem's were run out by greedy landlords. But what I miss most about the old Loop is the Sunday drum circle. When the powers-that-be killed that, they killed the soul of the Loop.

• I like that this is on Saturday also. Should be fun on Washington.

• This is a wonderful development. Love that it's on a Saturday and not Sunday anymore.
