What's Up Magazine Presents City Sound Tracks Festival Along the MetroLink on Saturday, March 27

Nothing beats a good train song -- "Folsom Prison Blues," "Cannonball Rag" and the grandaddy of them all, "Mystery Train" -- and nothing beats a music festival in the spring, especially when you can get in for the price of a MetroLink train ticket. City Sound Tracks, a festival organized by What's Up Magazine (with support from Tracking Progress, KDHX and STL Style), fuses passion for public transportation, social justice and rock & roll (and blues, folk, jam and more) into a multi-stage event, spanning Union Station and the Central West End and more, with eats and libations available as well.

It's an ambitious production, with 27 regional bands performing (including Bob Reuter's Alley Ghost, Dogtown Allstars, Madahoochi, Bad Penny, Brian Curran and Teddy Presberg), but at least parking won't be an issue. For more information, visit the City Sound Tracks Facebook page.

Hop on board and we'll see you on Saturday.
