On Fillmore Playing the Wilco-Curated Solid Sound Fest. Also: See Darin Gray Thrash With Dazzling Killmen.

Euclid Records' Youtube channel strikes again: Last week they uploaded several videos of time-signature-shredders Dazzling Killmen playing live on Criticalmass from back in the day. The one above, "Serpentarium," is a particularly mind-throttling example of the group's post-rock maelstrom. Bassist Darin Gray is currently playing in the experimental act On Fillmore with drummer Glenn Kotche; read our feature here.

Yesterday, it was announced that On Fillmore is one of the acts playing the Wilco-curated music and arts festival called the Solid Sound Fest, which is taking place August 13 through 15 at the Massachusetts Museum for Contemporary Art. Billed by the official website as "an independently promoted and ticketed three-day event of music, art, comedy, interactivity and more," the weekend features a Wilco headlining gig and appearances from all of the projects in the Wilco family tree -- hence On Fillmore's appearance. (For those of you scoring along at home, those acts would be the Nels Cline Singers, John Stirratt's the Autumn Defense and Pat Sansone and Mikael Jorgensenʼs Pronto.) Tickets are $86.50 and on sale this Friday via wilcoworld.net and solidsoundfestival.com. And Tweedy, of course, is playing a solo set a few weeks later at Loufest.
