Rush Documentary Screening at Ronnies in June

If Rush's August show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater won't have enough air-drumming dudes and epic prog breakdowns for you, fear not: Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, a documentary on the band directed by the men behind Iron Maiden: Flight 666, is screening in St. Louis on June 10. Says a press release:
Directors Sam Dunn & Scot McFadyen embark on a comprehensive exploration of this extraordinary power trio, from their early days in Toronto, through each of their landmark albums, to the present day. Featuring never-before-seen footage & interviews with notables such as Billy Corgan, Trent Reznor, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Jack Black, Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) & Gene Simmons, this film explores the forty-year career and phenomenon behind what could be the world's biggest cult band.
The documentary screens at 7:30 p.m. at Ronnies (5320 South Lindbergh). Tickets are available now at the theatre or online.
