So, Hear the One About the National Coming to St. Louis?

My network of underground spies was chattering quite a bit yesterday. They told me a lot of things that were tenuous, but they did reveal that the National should be coming to St. Louis sometime later this year. More information when my magic-8-ball becomes clearer; it's a little murky this morning. The velvet-lined indie band was last in St. Louis at Blueberry Hill's Duck Room in June 2007, so it's been awhile. Since that time, it's continued to amass critical acclaim and fans; in fact, the National's newest LP, High Violet, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 album charts.
