Okay, so perhaps "boatload" is a bit of an exaggeration -- but not by much. We have three five-packs of tickets for Wednesday night's Temper Trap/Warpaint show at the Pageant. And we're going to give them to you! "Who are these bands?" you might ask. Well --
Temper Trap is an Australian pop band with designs on the heaven-scraping guitar-rock of U2 (cf. "Sweet Disposition," the (500) Days of Summer indie-cute confection). And Warpaint hails from LA; its breathy vocals, dense melancholy and seductive guitar work recall a stripped-down Bat for Lashes, or a Cat Power-Holly Miranda collaboration.
