Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti is opening for Flaming Lips on September 17 at the Pageant. That show is very, very, very sold out. However, the LA group will be doing a free in-store at Vintage Vinyl at 4 p.m. that afternoon. As the store puts it: "Ask Wiki and you get "freakfolk" and "chillwave" in the first sentence...Vintage Vinyl likes to label the music of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti as righteous ear food and couldn't be more excited that the band will be performing in our store before their big show with the Flaming Lips."
