Celebrate 90210 at the Skatium with the Humanoids, The Livers, More!
Today is September 2, 2010 -- in other words, 90210. Which, of course, has sent the Internet (yes, collectively) racing to post videos of old-school Beverly Hills 90210 episodes. Such as this one, which features David Silver trying to further his music career. ("Music career.")
In honor of this hallowed day, the Skatium's throwing a big ol' 90210 skate party. As the Facebook event notes, "'90s dress is strongly encouraged" -- which shouldn't be that hard, since tight minidresses, vests over t-shirts and velvet are all back in style -- and there will be a 90210 cast member lookalike contest. The Humanoids and the Livers will provide live '90s cover music sets -- and then, of course, the Peach Pit After Dark is going to break out with DJ sets by Coreyography and DEADasDISCO. The night's cash only and 18+, and drinks are $2-$3. The night will be about as cool as 90210 was when the Cramps appeared on it; see video evidence below.
