1. Dogtown Street Musicians Festival
This weekend marks the first ever
Dogtown Street Musicians Festival. Located between the 1200 - 1300 block of Tamm, this event will run Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
2. Funk Fest 5

3. Litterthugz at London Calling
London Calling returns this Saturday at the Gramophone, and The Litterthugz will be on hand to play a special guest set. Doors open at 9 p.m. with a $4 cover charge until 10 p.m., when the price goes up to $7.
4. Wolf Eyes

Wavves this Saturday at the Billiken Club at Saint Louis University. The show starts at 9 p.m. The Price? Free. You can't beat that.
7. An Under Cover Weekend
Head over to the Firebird for this annual Saint Louis concert series featuring original local bands, not cover bands, performing secret tribute sets at The Firebird. Friday night's lineup includes Troubadour Dali playing Queens of The Stone Age, The Blind Eyes playing Fleetwood Mac, Sleepy Kitty as Pavement and Union Tree Review playing The Postal Service.
On Saturday, concertgoers can look forward to The Orbz performing Iggy and The Stooges, Beth Bombara and Cassie Morgan performing as The Breeders, Tenement Ruth performing Loretta Lynn, and more. Tickets for each night run $10. For more info and the full lineup, check out

8. Animal Empty
Animal Empty, Run Run Run and the Neverhawks will be performing this Sunday at
Off Broadway. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the music is slated to begin at 8:00 p.m. If you're 21 or older, tickets will only cost you $8. For those of you under the drinking age, you'll have to shell out $11; that's what you get for not being able to run up a beer tab.
9. Hayes Carll
One of this week's critic's pick's is Hayes Carll at Blueberry Hill. The singer-songwriter from The Woodlands, Texas plays tonight at 9 pm. Tickets are only $12. For more, check out the

10. The Protomen
Tonight at 9:00 p.m., head over to 2720 Cherokee for an evening with
The Protomen. Tickets will cost you $10. With a stage presence compared to Daft Punk, this Mega Man-inspired rock band is sure to be a sight to see.
