Ben Folds Coming to the Pageant? [Answer: Yes!]

According to an email from Ben Folds' publicist, he's going to be playing at the Pageant on Sunday, January 30. The venue has not yet announced this show, so until we hear otherwise, consider this show unconfirmed. The show -- Folds with a full band, for the record -- is confirmed! Tickets are $32, and are on sale Friday, December 10, at 5 p.m. (Perhaps fans who were afraid that the rude crowd at Ben Folds' Chaifetz Arena show would deter him from returning to town can fret no longer.) Folds' latest album is a collaboration with Nick Hornby, Lonely Avenue. The highlight of the album (for me) is the danceable, synth-y "Saskia Hamilton":
