Listen to This Hilarious, Entertaining Ozzy Osbourne Interview

Ozzy Osbourne is performing at the Scottrade Center tonight, Friday, December 10. Halford (the band fronted by Rob Halford of Judas Priest) opens. Tickets are $27 to $72.50, and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. A few weeks ago, KSHE DJ Favazz had the chance to interview Osbourne. The results, predictably, were hilarious and enlightening. Ol' Ozzy was both charming and indecipherable -- sometimes all at once -- and was a good sport about anything Favazz threw at him, from the possibility of a Black Sabbath reunion and the late Ronnie James Dio to some bawdy fan-generated questions. Here are a few choice quotable Ozzy highlights:

After Favazz wished him a happy early birthday (Ozzy turned 62 last weekend):
"Can you believe that I fucking made 62? Miracles will never cease to happen."

On if he has any memories of St. Louis:
"In the early '70s, we were touring with Black Oak Arkansas, we were in a car with them and the hotel. [indecipherable] I got one of them fire extinguishers -- and you know the [indecipherable]? I sprayed the room and everybody was covered in this fucking white stuff. ... One time we were there we went to this bad area without knowing it, we jammed in this club at four in the morning or something."

Favazz asked fans to send in questions for Ozzy. One of these queries: How's the sex life for a 62-year-old rockstar?
"What's that? You mean, that thing we used to do when we had [indecipherable, sounds like "balls"]? I mean, it's like... [sigh]. Next question."

Another fan question; Ozzy, do you ever think you will be knighted?
"[laughs] I don't know, but I don't think so, but you never know, do you? Sir Ozzy Osbourne."
Favazz: Wouldn't that be great?
"Naw. I'm already the prince of darkness."
