Corle2da's "Digital" Video Finally Drops: "The Internet's the New Streets"

Categories: Videodrone

Corle2da's video for "Digital," his second single, is finally online. The zeitgeisty track namechecks everything from Facebook to ADHD. Appropriately, the video opens on a tricked-out Honda NSX (that car is sex), and follows Corle through a James Bond-style mission in a real live computer mainframe.

He gets stopped by a sexy cop in six-inch heels after completing his quest to metaphorically upload "Digital" into the the collective consciousness at the "World Web facility." But of course, our favorite parts are 2:03 and 3:54, when the RFT's web presence gets some love, Corle-style.

AV also joins the rapper on the track and delivers the "gimme" line that we wish we'd put money on: "...got more gigs than a hard drive." Corle's better half, Lexie of Bad Girl's Club fame, has a cameo, as does Mark Mauer of Hollow Wear, who gave the video its high tech look.

The effects-laden production and editing from Mauer is top-notch, despite one teensy nitpick: There's a spelling error in the intro. It's repeated once -- and if you catch it, be the first to leave a comment with the corrected spelling for a chance to win Corle's "So St. Louis" DVD and a copy of the new single.
