Teresajenee Working Up New Material, Playing Live with DJ Solange Knowles
You read that flyer right: Solange Knowles -- a.k.a. Beyonce's little sister -- will be DJing at Exo in Midtown on Friday, January 21. Space will be limited, so it's recommended that you RSVP to Exo by emailing here or by calling 314-707-8709. 
Along with Solange's DJ skills, patrons can expect a live performance from local talent Teresajenee. After releasing an album, The Ecklectic, in summer 2009, the soulful vocalist has been flying a bit under the radar. That's about to change, however.
In an email, Teresajenee notes that she's been holed up in the studio working on part two of The Ecklectic. "The new album will feature live band versions of some of the songs off of the original The Ecklectic, plus new material," she says.
TJ also notes that she's also planning to play some shows in the South and on the East and West coasts in 2011. Catch the latest news via her Twitter and Tumblr.
