Drury Hotels Want to Give Bands Free Hotel Rooms. Just Ask Jumbling Towers' Joe DeBoer

The St. Louis-based chain Drury Hotels is holding a rather-fun contest for musicians. The band/artist/performer who pens the best Drury-related tune will win seven free nights at any hotel owned by the company. The rules are simple: Songs have to be between 30 seconds and three minutes long and have to be in downloadable video or MP3 form. Artists should send these to druryrocks@druryhotels.com by Wednesday, March 16. Submissions will be posted online at druryrocks.com, and then five finalists will be chosen; the final winner will be determined by fan-voting starting the week of March 21. To advertise the contest, Drury has concocted a fun little video, which you can see below. The wig-wearing musician -- and the music playing in his segment -- might be familiar to fans of Jumbling Towers. Just maybe. This segment is also rather funny, so definitely take the time to check it out. (Former JT member Kyle McConaghy, who now works for Drury Hotels, tipped us off to the contest -- so that perhaps explains the video connection.)
