This just in: Journey, which is releasing a new album, Eclipse, on May 24 exclusively through Wal-Mart, is apparently coming to St. Louis at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 27, according to an email from its publicist. Foreigner and Night Ranger are special guests. Ticket info TBA, if and when the venue confirms...

Journey is an amazing band the last time I saw them I agree not a spot to be found on the lawn. I saw Foreigner, and I will say they are amazing as always, and I saw Night Ranger with Styx I don't think any of those bands will have a problem filling Verizon

Are those bands really going to be able to sell enough tickets at Verizon Wireless, or am I severely underestimating (or, perhaps, overestimating) the crowd for such a show?

The last tIme journey came to St. Louis, I believe four years ago, maybe three, there wasn't a spot to sit on the lawn! People were standing on the fence line! Night ranger was amazing last year there as well! I will definetly be at this show!

Journey is still huge. Last show in STL a few years ago sold out. If ticket prices aren't too expensive, I expect much of the same.
