Sound Tribe Sector 9 Ticket Giveaway for Tonight's Show
Jam/electronic mainstays Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9 to anyone who will be interested in this contest) plays a two night stand at the Pageant this weekend; obviously we have a pair of tickets here for tonight's installment. STS9 isn't your standard, twenty-minute-song mashers -- the band has earned its massive following with a live show you can lose yourself in, incorporating elements of dance music, electronica and post-rock. STS9 hasn't put out any formal releases in a couple years, but that's hardly the point of its music. The band owns its own record label, 1320 Records, and has started regularly posting live show footage online. Below, watch a clip the band posted from a recent stop at Red Rocks.
