The lineup for the 2011 Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts has just been announced: As you can see, it's Bill Biv DeVoe on July 15th, Gavin DeGraw on July 16th, Keb' Mo' on July 22nd and Barenaked Ladies on July 23rd. All shows are free and the headliners listed start at 8:00 p.m. on each night.

Celebrate St. Louis is an offshoot of Fair St. Louis, which also features a series of concerts earlier in July -- this year Steve Miller Band, Maroon 5 and Mongomery Genry will headline those shows.

Bell Biv DeVoe, an offshoot of R&B titans New Edition, is most well-known for its song "Poison." Gavin DeGraw you know as the soundtrack to both One Tree Hill and teenage girlhood generally, Keb' Mo' is a blues legend and sports a jaw-dropping guest artist resume -- he's played with everyone from Jefferson Airplane to Jackson Browne. And Barenaked Ladies...

My Voice Nation Help

I've been apprehensive about paying to see a Page-less BNL, so this is a good opportunity to see if they still put on a great live show like they did the last time I saw them live 8 years ago or so.

So is this what was Live on the Levee or am I missing something?

Man, I'll go see BBD for free. Taking me back to my roots right there!

Hmm good thing I spent last summer in St. Louis and not this one. John Legend, B-52s, Foghat, BOC, and Silversun Pickups are more in line with my music tastes. I've never heard of Keb Mo but he looks interesting. I was never really a fan of Barenaked Ladies, but of course I've heard that song.
