Of Montreal, Tombs Lead This Week's New Show Announcements

Todd Owyoung Of Montreal at The Pageant last October.
The Luminary Center for the Arts weren't kidding about their "big" announcement yesterday--Of Montreal is the biggest act they've ever booked. The show is July 4th, so while the rest of the nation is celebrating our dubious democracy and the 2nd amendment, we'll be observing our freedom at the most flamboyant dance party of the summer. Doom kids Tombs might bring metal back to the masses, the underground power trio play metal sanctuary Fubar on June 14. Fair St. Louis announced the line-up for it's Fair St. Louis Foundation's Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts series (yeah, that's a lot less confusing than Live on the Levee, jerks)--Barenaked Ladies, Bell Biv DeVoe, Gavin DeGraw and Keb' Mo'.
