Slightly Stoopid came to the Pageant over the weekend with stoner rock forefathers Meat Puppets. There was fist-pumping, there was crowd-surfing, there was a green gorilla and there was trumpet-aided rocking. Jon Gitchoff was there and you can pretend like you were too with his photos.

Loving all the pictures from the show, especially the green gorilla. I am stoked to see the energy and fun atmosphere they provide at all their shows this summer!!

haha amazing green gorilla.  perfectly captures the essence of Slightly Stoopid and the Meaties. Awesome photos too.

Will there be a proper review of this show? I saw the Meat Puppets the last 2 times they came through town and was thoroughly impressed. Had to miss this one but would at least like to know what they played.
