Deliciously flamboyant garage punks Hunx and His Punx is coming to the Firebird on September 13th. The is a great one: Seth Bogard and his "Punkettes" (Shannon Shaw, Erin Emslie, Amy Blaustein and Michelle Santamaria) are raising more than a few freak eyebrows these days. If you're looking for reference points, the band's first tour was with Jay Reatard and Bogard has said his dream is to sing like a woman. Why yes: Tickets are on sale already. They're $10.
