Euclid Records will be kicking off fall with its first ever Gazebo A-Go-Go Celebration on October 1st. Crafts, food, art, a stage and more will be set up in the Webster Groves Gazebo in Old Orchard, while the annual sidewalk sale will take place down the block at the Euclid store.

Performing at the Celebration will be Black Fast, the Incurables, the Painkillers, Sleepy Kitty and Trobadour Dali -- the final three of which have released albums on Euclid's label this year.

Music video collector Spike Priggen will also be on hand. Per Euclid's release:

Spike Priggen is the curator of the Bedazzled.tv and scopitones.com video blogs, and he will present two hours of rare seen music video clips from his collection, starting at 8:30 pm. First up is a program of "Scopitones," the almost forgotten precursor to the modern music video, shot on 16mm film and shown on an early type of "Video Juke-Box." Scopitone machines were usually located in bars and lounges, allowing for a slightly more "risqué" feel than one could see on TV or movies at that time. The 2nd hour of the program will feature newly unearthed footage originally broadcast on French TV, including early live footage of bands such as the Kinks, the Who, the Yardbirds, Them, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Otis Redding, the Moody Blues, the Pretty Things, and the Spencer Davis Group, as well as much, much more.

The sidewalk sale will, as always, feature a large collection of non-stock vinyl and CDs and a 10% discount on everything inside the store. Meanwhile, the performance schedule is:

1 p.m. Black Fast
2:30 p.m. The Incurables
4 p.m. The Painkillers (in its second ever reunion performance)
5:30 p.m. Sleepy Kitty
7 p.m. Troubadour Dali

If you are an artist or a crafter who wants to rent space at the Celebration, contact Joe Schwab at joe AT euclidrecords DOT com.
