Win Tickets For Saturday's Ludo Show At The Pageant

St. Louis' own purveyor of gleefully immature pop play the big stage at the Pageant on Saturday. The band is currently wrapping up a tour in support of 2010's Prepare The Preparations and naturally Saturday's homecoming should be a damn good time.

Ludo's tour will take the band to Omaha tomorrow night before Saturday's big show here. The quartet will finish the tour the next night at the Blue Note in Columbia.

Prepare The Preparations is as unapologetically worry free as any of Ludo's previous albums -- it also marks its second release with Island records. Check out the video for lead single "Whipped Cream" below.

Is the contest still going on?! Cause while Girls on Trampolines is an amazing party song i think Lake Pontchartrain is a great party STARTER. Great melody and the lyrics are good as with all Ludo songs. They usually start off with this song, and its obviously cause it is a great "party starter".

Really, "Girls on Trampolines" is the best party-startin' Ludo tune. It's about scoring booze, weed, sexy women and just narrowly escaping a serious M.I.P. charge...which basically sums up about every party we all went to in high school. Plus, I've been to many-a Ludo show here in STL and anytime this song is played, the crowd goes ape-shit. It's such an awesome song to hear live and I can't wait to hear it again on Saturday night!

Lastly, Andrew Volpe's masterful story-telling in this song instantly brings all listeners back to their care-free high school party weekends. Girls on Trampolines starts a party, without a doubt.
