Update, 11/21/11: The Civil Wars has officially sold out the Pageant, less than a year after selling out the Old Rock House.

Classicist folk band the Civil Wars is coming back to St. Louis. The time off has been good to the duo -- April's show at Old Rock House was a sold-out success, and this time it'll be at the Pageant: January 15, with an opener to javascript:void(0);be determined. Tickets are $20 and go on sale October 28.
The Civil Wars is starting to escape its Taylor Swift-approved, Grey's Anatomy single "Poison & Wine," making a name for itself in the fertile grounds of orchestral folk. But the single remains the band's most crucial listening material; watch the video below.
