Update: We've picked a winner, via Facebook. Jon Gitchoff, selected by blind polling of our tree-expert panel, who offers this fact, "They're just the right height in Michigan." Thanks to everyone who entered.

The Head and the Heart will play the Pageant. Tickets are $17.50 in advance or $20 on Sunday. Drew Grow & the Pastors' Wives and Black Girls will open.

We'd like to send you to the show -- to win a pair of tickets, tell us your favorite fact about trees. Yep: A fact about trees. We will accept submissions in the comments below or on our Facebook page.

The Head and the Heart, signed to Sub Pop, played St. Louis for the first time last June. Less than a year later, the Seattle-based sextet will make the jump from Blueberry Hill's Duck Room to the Pageant.

A single tree produces approximately 260 pounds of oxygen per year. That means two mature trees can supply enough oxygen annually to support a family of four.

A panda walks into a restaurant, sits down, and orders a sandwich. He eats the sandwich, pulls out a gun, and shoots the waiter dead. As the panda stands up to go, the manager shouts, "Hey! Where are you going? You just shot my waiter, and you didn't even pay for your sandwich!""Hey, man, I'm a PANDA!" the panda shouts back. "Look it up!"The manager opens his dictionary and reads: "Panda: a tree-dwellingmammal of Asian origin, characterized by distinct black and whitecoloring. Eats shoots and leaves."
