Amanda Berry, one of the three women held captive for a decade in the home of a former Cleveland school bus driver, made a surprise public appearance over the weekend at Cleveland's Roverfest concert. The 27-year-old was invited to the concert informally over the air by local radio DJ Shane French, who hosts WMMS (100.7 FM)'s popular morning show.

When she arrived, she was invited onstage.

French had mentioned over the air, to no response, that "she had ten years of partying to make up for and she should come," according to reports by Gawker, Slate and the Associated Press. When she arrived with family and friends to the sold-out concert unexpectedly, French ensured that they all would be allowed in and encouraged her to come up onstage.

French introduced Berry to the crowd. "I want you to give this person a bigger round of applause and cheer than me, anyone on the show, any of the acts that are here. I'm gonna bring out a family that you probably know -- give it up for Amanda Berry!" The crowd responded with thunderous applause and a "Berry! Berry!" chant.

Later in the night, Berry appeared onstage alongside Nelly, dancing to his triple-platinum song "Just a Dream." A short clip of that can be seen below.

She has to be giddy. The adrenaline rush is probably going to last a while.
