Miley Cyrus has captivated fans and onlookers alike this year with her increasingly provocative behavior (the "Wrecking Ball" video, near-nude photo shoots with Terry Richardson, that whole VMAs thing) and is now ready to take the show on the road. Cyrus announced a 38-day tour in support of her latest effort, October's Bangerz.

The tour will hit St. Louis on April 16, at the Scottrade Center. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, November 16, at 10 a.m. You can purchase them from Live Nation, Ticketmaster, through the Ford Box Office at Scottrade Center or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

In this article from September, we looked at Cyrus' recent infiltration of the rap scene. An excerpt of Nick Nuk'em's article:

After being wildly-ecstatic about the Jay Z song that was on in her debut single as Miley Cyrus "Party in the USA" (Hannah Montana's eulogy could've been given at the video shoot), the former Disney starlet recently found herself being referred to on Hov's recent MCHG. One could say the tables have turned. With her much publicized image shift, Miley has found herself not only on a freeway overpass in LA, but also firmly aboard the train that is contemporary hip-hop.

What was true then is even more so now, but being that we are still in the midst of this transition, it remains to be seen whether she can sell tickets for all 38 dates. I suppose we'll find out in February.

It'll suck. But I say that because I don't like her or any of her music. No thanks.

I can't even imagine who her audience will be anymore. I don't know of anyone any age or either gender that enjoys her new act.

She should be sponsored by Bimbo bakeries.

With an album titled Bangerz, I'm guessing it'll be sponsored by Bang Bros.

It'll be like watching Mr. Ed clomping around in a skimpy, poorly fit costume and yodel for an hour. The tweens will be orgasmic.
