These guys wonder why they can't get a second date.
They should have covers with a pile of whatever animal you chose excrament on it because that's what the music sounds like.
Evan Paul - The Company Of Wolves! Lol :-) all the wins.
Vastum - it's the bat that makes the image cool. People who do not like bats are ignorant of what role bats play. Imagine a night where you cannot go out due to flying bugs everywhere. Now, go thank the bats for you not living in that world.
Oh metal bands-Oh metal bands...a new metal xmas song?
If I still bought vinyl, I might care.
some of the art is really good (in my opinion) much better than I could ever draw on paper or computer. Whether or not it goes with the band or should be on pixar film. I like them, I don't listen to metal though.
@rusty_shackles @rftmusic Profanatica. Just... god bless America
Hah, I love heavy metal, but yeah, the covers are generally terribad.
What's wrong with power frost?? Seems fitting guys !
@rusty_shackles "You just know the artist was proud as hell when he finished it." - the wife
@rusty_shackles @rftmusic this list made me realize I wouldn't be good at making metal covers. It would just be a hodgepodge of those ideas.
@rusty_shackles @rftmusic If you'd drawn that Iron Mask cover it'd be rad.
@ThatWeissGuy @rusty_shackles I halfway assume it's intentionally goofy.
@ThatWeissGuy @rusty_shackles I also laughed at the Blackout one. Given the smartassery of our corner of Twitter +
@Bouncex3 Zodiac had a KILLER cover album before last and that last one is a good idea just really poorly executed
@kenlowery @rusty_shackles You can never tell with metal folks. The sincerely devout walk cheek-to-jowl with the piss takers.
@rusty_shackles which one was that? Don't want to flip though the slides again on my phone.
@ThatWeissGuy @kenlowery apparently Blackout is a Stoner/doom band from Brooklyn so that may be the best cover of the year
@Bouncex3, of course the dogs do not look threatening. They are relaxed with their mistress. The meanest junkyard dog is gentle and happy with its master. It is other people that the dogs would become mean towards. Idiot RFT writer knows nothing about canines.
@rusty_shackles oh yeah. I didn't notice the gentle dogs until I read the blurb. A lot of them weren't quite as bad as I was hoping.
@Bouncex3 the girl with the wolves - cool idea if it had gone a bit more Vallejo.
