John Krane of Brotherfather: "The best post-show food in St. Louis is anything that gives you sinner's ass the next morning. Probably gonna go with the Kingshighway Courtesy Diner. The other one's too clean, and nobody wants clean food from a diner."

Galen McGreehan, drummer of Quaere Verum: "If I had money to spend on anything but cymbals it would be a slider from Courtesy Diner."

Sarah Bollinger: "The best post-show food in St. Louis is South City Diner, of course."

Katie Lindhorst, keyboardist and vocalist of The Glass Cavalry: "The City Diner on South Grand -- best ever. The Southsider is my favorite plate of food."

Shannon Durington, bassist of The Glass Cavalry: "City Diner, if you can stomach the fact that Katie will order a coffee and a tomato juice."

Cullen O'Donnell, guitarist and vocalist of The Glass Cavalry: "City Diner or a Steak and Shake drive-thru. If I'm going out for food after the show, that's where I usually end up."

Grant Barnum, guitarist and vocalist of The Glass Cavalry: "The best post-show food in St. Louis is City Diner on South Grand. No question."

Brothers Lazaroff: "Just say no! Go home, have a bowl of cereal or some leftovers in the fridge. At this point in our career, we've learned it never pays to do the after-gig throw down meal. You always regret it in the morning, but when you have to do it, South City Diner seems to be where we usually end up."

I like the Tap Room a ton, but the kitchen closes at 9 or 10 pm most nights so where are these musicians playing where they can pack up after and still get a meal there?

What would musicians know, they are busy packing up there gear while concert goers continue the party.

The food at the Schlafly Tap Room is, in fact, great anytime! Especially for a place that's primarily sought for its beer.
