Why?
w/ Bo and the Locomotive
@ The Demo
8:30 p.m. | $12-$14
Cincinatti-based WHY? combines alternative hip-hop with indie rock, and apparently does it pretty damn well -- 68,772 people can't be wrong, right? Check out songs on its official website. (MS)

Friday night has plenty more great options to choose from including Oneohtrix Point Never, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Todd Rundgren. Click on the links to learn more via extended previews.

Saturday (April 5):

Guttermouth
w/ The Scam, The Fuck Off And Dies, Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting, 431
@ Fubar
7 p.m. | $15-$17
You are doomed at this show if you stand up front, because I am going to throw all 230 pounds of my body off the stage at you during "Jaime's Petting Zoo." Bet on it! Doomed, I say! (DH)

Wildeyed EP Release
w/ All My Vices, Crowns
@ Plush
9 p.m. | $7
Go to this show, pick up the new EP from Wildeyed, eat a Mac & Cheeseburger, and DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT WALKING DOWN THE STREET TO THE GUTTERMOUTH SHOW AT FUBAR. You are doomed there; dooooooooooooooooomed! (DH)

For another option on Saturday night, head to the Schlafly Tap room to check out a local line-up featuring Yowie and more.

Sunday (April 6):

Blues For the Heart
w/ Jeremiah Johnson Band, Rich McDonough and Rough Grooves, Pat Liston, Big Mike Aguirre, Lucky Old Sons, Aaron Griffin, Matt Rattlesnack Lesch, Benefit Blues Band, Melissa Neels
@ BB's Jazz, Blues & Soups
1 p.m. | $10
This jam-packed concert of local blues regulars benefits the American Heart Association. (MS)

G-Eazy performs at Pop's Nightclub on Sunday as well. For more on him, check out this 2013 interview.

Note: Though we wish we could, we can't feature every great show happening in town in just one measly post. Peruse the St. Louis concert calendar for more ideas any time. Let everyone know what else you're looking forward to seeing this weekend in the comments below, and submit show info online any time to be considered for inclusion on these lists.

I have one that didn't make your top ten, it is the Chris Weaver Band, in town tonight and performing at Brazikat Brazilian Steak & Seafood House, no cover and $5.00 top shelf drinks during the whole show…hard to beat that! :)
