Slayer came through St. Louis last night, performing at the Pageant with openers (and fellow legends) Exodus and Suicidal Tendencies. Despite some consternation from purists about the band's lineup (senselessly lacking in Lombardo and tragically lacking in Hanneman), Slayer put on an excellent show with second-stringers Paul Bostaph and Exodus' Gary Holt.

We sent photographer Steve Truesdell to the show to shoot some photos. Here are our favorites from the night:

Adam - when I saw Slayer in 2011 with Jeff on guitar, Slayer didn't do the ending solo to Raining Blood too - they transitioned to Aggressive Perfector, just the same as they did this concert to Black Magic.

The show was brutal. And for that idiot who said the solos wasnt that good your a fool the solos were great as usual kerry picked up no slack he played his as he should and Gary Holt played Jeffs n didnt miss a lick.
