Deer Tick is four albums deep into its catalogue, and now come with David Letterman's approval. The band makes rock n' roll that could comfortably tread over a dirt path. Ramones Tribute Band, We're a Happy Family, is playing the opening night of the photography exhibit Babylon's Burning -- Phantom Gallery is hosting the event. Including classic images from the punk rock epoch of the '60s and '70s, the diverse collection will have pictures from acts including the Runaways and Iggy Pop.

This week, we ventured along Delmar Boulevard to bring you this week's shows in fliers hanging on the walls, counters and windows of Blueberry Hill's Duck Room, Vintage Vinyl, Iron Age Studios, Sunshine Daydream and Snarf's.

A couple highlights: Pop's Nightclub is hosting a benefit for Joplin tomorrow nigh, featuring Greek Fire and Evans Blue, and Rum Drum Ramblers will be having their vinyl release show Saturday night at the Gramophone.
