You may have had your fill of the Boeing vs. Northrop Grumman/European Aeronautic Defence and Space (EADS) air force tanker brouhaha.
But I don't recall reading as many specifics of Boeing's protest as former RFT staffer Mike Seely offers in a blog post at our sister paper Seattle Weekly.
Seely spoke with a Boeing spokesman who argues that the jumbo size of the Airbus craft that won the $40 billion tanker sweepstakes will necessitate everything from bigger hangars to airstrips spaced widely enough apart to accommodate the planes.









The manufacturing guys over at Evolving Excellence have also been taking Boeing to task, first in terms of the hypocrisy of whining about losing the tanker deal to NG/Airbus at:
