Photos: Sarah Palin Drops the Puck, Curses Blues
Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, who by now is known to everyone as a self-described "hockey mom," dropped the puck at the St. Louis Blues game Friday night and later sat in a luxury box with team president Dave Checketts.
Unlike her appearance at a Philadelphia Flyers game earlier this month, Blues fans mixed in their cheers with boos for the Alaska governor. Philly fans were none too kind.
Blues fans better hope she didn't hex the team with her Palin curse. After she dropped the puck in Philly, the team went on a losing streak.
Last night, the Blues' valuable goalie, Manny Legace, tripped on the blue carpet that had been unrolled on the ice for Palin. He suffered a hip injury and didn't return to the game. Thanks a lot.
