Ordinarily, I really couldn't care any less about the NBA All-Star game, outside of a mild, prurient interest in seeing who gets arrested with a dead prostitute and two pounds of blow in the trunk of his Bentley. I have to admit, though, this got my full attention.
During his introduction at the game, Shaquille O' Neal performed a dance routine with the Jabbawockeez, the group who won the first season of America's Best Dance Crew.
I have to admit, I've always been a Shaq fan. Not because of his play; my disinterest in the NBA All-Star Game is basically the same attitude I have toward the NBA just in general. But Shaquille O' Neal is one of the greatest sound bites of our time, and that I do love. So you have two of my favorite things, Shaq acting ridiculous and the robot, together at last. And you know what? It is good. Oh yes, it is good.
Screw it; I can't tell you how good it was. I'm simply not a good enough writer. You're just going to have to see it for yourself.
